Cheapy Idea No2

I've found that a great way to get cheap embelishments is from wrapping paper. In a lot of little variety shops you can get really nice wrapping paper for around 50c. I found this flower one, and i'll get heaps of pretty pages out of this one wrapping.

I also made the below page from wrapping that just had squares with Happy Birthday written on them, with a star square seporating each word. [I couldn't find the left over paper to show you. I think one of the kids pinched it! lol] I just arranged the letters how i wanted them and scattered the stars. [The balloons & streamers are from Creative Memories] Looks pretty good huh?

Wrapping paper could also be used for backgrounds if you could be creative enough to hide the crease lines :o)

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I decided to track you back, and I'm glad I did! I have done this exact thing with the grab bags, in fact, I've cut bags up and wrapped presents with them. Often they have a rope/ribbon handle which I can use as a bow or embellishment, and its already matching. Have a good day!
