Here's Rose, my little angel [And has been for 11 years now]
On this page i wanted that worn look on the paper. The background paper has that worn look, but how do you make worn paper out of new paper?
An old trick from art school...
I made a bowl of coffee, using about 1/2 a cup of instant coffee, and disolved it in hot tap water. then, once cooled, I soaked a piece of printer paper in the coffee mixture and dried it. The finished product looks like antique paper. It would look great as pirate maps etc too.
I scrunched my paper up before soaking it in the coffee mixture, because i wanted a creased, crinkled effect, but it looks great without being scrunched too.
